“ From my first visit over 24 years ago... consistency and quality does not waiver. From my fave starter; arepas blanco con queso... make sure you ask for some aji to add a lil kick. A nice refajo to wash it down and then my constant and fave dish, La bandeja casa vieja. Not sure what they marinate the chicken in but oh Lawdy.... Heaven My fiancé had the #6- chicken enchiladas. All he kept saying was the (black) beans were "on fire" he loved them. Many if not most entrees served with rice and beans and my dish, sweet plantain. Private parking - conveniently located on the corner so access from Pine Aire or Brentwood Road. Priced accordingly, Spanish AND English spoken so no need to fret. But go for it... practice your college Spanish 101 . Buen provecho ”
“ We used to eat here all the time, but we moved further away, so it's been a while & we decided to stop by for an early dinner. Every dish from our empanada appetizer to my daughter's Argentinian steak (cooked perfectly rare, my husband's chicken fajitas (excellent) and my Bandeja Paisa (so yummy!) was cooked to perfection, tasty and a huge portion size for the prices. We all brought home leftovers. The wait staff was great, they kept our waters filled & brought more chips & salsa without being asked. Excellente!! Reminded us we need to come back more often. ”

The sauce was as blessed as holy water and I want to put it on everything. As a matter of fact, dipping slices of fried yuca in it was absolutely heavenly. Not pictured but equally important, is the pomegranate martini that completed my meal in a way I can't explain. On top of all that, the service is always wonderful which truly makes for a perfect dining experience. Be sure to visit Casa Vieja, you won't regret it. ”
